Central Parkway 4
Highway 10 at Burnhamthorpe Road. In Mississauga  Opened 1980 closed 2000, reopened 2001
The Central Parkway was built for Ontario Theatre Group and it was shortly taken over by Odeon because it could not get the films.
In 1990 Cineplex Odeon closed it and used it as a school for projectionists and later it sold it to a couple of fellows who reopened it as Dollar Cinemas. Dollar went bankrupt and it was reopened by Golden Theatres of Seattle Wa, in 1999 Encore Cinemas buys it and runs it on a discount policy but there is no demand and they had to close it down.
Thanks to Jeff Knoll of Encore Cinemas who provided information for the Central Parkway.
